Director of Strategic Partnerships

We are looking for a talented individual who will be responsible for expanding community relations and opening the door with new strategic partners. Your job duties are to work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to define strategies and then connect with external groups to expand on these company visions. Qualifications for the position include years of career experience, existing contact networks with business partners, and superlative interpersonal skills.

 

As Director of Strategic Partnerships, you MUST be skilled at managing strategic-level partnerships, driving mutual growth and negotiating win-win arrangements. We are looking for a 'people person' with strong business acumen who is analytical with the ability to connect dots in the bigger picture. You will need to be persuasive, manage interpersonal relationships effectively for the long-term, and be able to execute at the tactical level day-to-day.

 

We are searching for a proactive and passionate leader with exceptional account management skills to join our team with responsibility to develop preferred relationships with strategic partners in the Hospitality vertical.

 

The successful candidate will open the door to and deepen partnership engagements, helping to differentiate LV Tech as a premier partner. Working directly with senior executives and leaders across the business, this individual will define and grow long-lasting, mutually beneficial opportunities, creating a book of business for LV Tech which optimally balances the goals of our partners with LV Tech’s business strategy and performance objectives creating mutual value for both.

 

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication and analytical skills.

 

The role requires resourcefulness, adaptability, and a high degree of organization, with the ability to build rapport with our partners at the most senior levels.

 

Responsibilities

  • Interacting with groups and 'large owner' partners to understand their goals and explain the value delivered by the LV Tech SMA

  • Building relationships based on trust, honesty, transparency and mutual advantage

  • Developing a deep understanding of partner’s strategic goals and of the ecosystem of partner organization's supplier base to gain access and become a main supplier

  • Negotiating with partners and advocating for LV Tech 

  • Collaborating with internal departments to fulfil partner needs, building relationships and creating leverage

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of LV Tech services in order to demonstrate value of the Company to potential partner organizations

  • Identifying industry and competitive trends and developing new relationships (and offerings based on trends) aligned to LV Tech's strategic direction

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic partnership management, account management, channel sales management, product management, business development or equivalent role

  • Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to develop relationships, ingest and present complex information, handle detail, influence decisions and drive outcomes with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills

  • High levels of organizational ability

  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with colleagues and across the partner organizations

  • Ability to travel (Trade Shows, Conferences, etc...)- including overnight domestic or international trips

The Director of Strategic Partnerships position is a salaried +++ position, based on experience and ability. Professional References REQUIRED.
